Venturing Out

It feels good to feel good.

An outdoor brand built from seven years guiding hikers and snowshoers through the Sierra — now becoming something you can wear, somewhere you can go, and a feeling you can step into.

The Founder

Venturing Out was never just a hiking business.

I started it in Truckee in 2017. No big plan. Just a feeling I wanted to share. Next thing I knew I was taking people into the wilderness almost every day — cooking meals in mason jars, hiking through whiteout snowshoe days, watching strangers turn into friends by sunset.

Then I moved across the world to Sydney, and the version I knew was gone. That part was harder than I expected.

But Venturing Out was never about the hikes. It was about how I felt when I was doing them. Alive. Confident. Connected. Strong. Free.

So I'm building it again. Same feeling, new form.
